FAQ

Ordering & Payment:

How do I place an order?

Browse the collection, select your product, size, and design, add to cart and checkout. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay through Shopify's secure checkout.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Contact us immediately via Instagram @immortaliran or through the store contact form. Because every item is made to order, we can only cancel or change orders within 24 hours of the order being placed. After that, your order enters production and cannot be changed.

Do you offer bulk or group orders?

Yes. If you're ordering for a diaspora organisation, community group, or event, contact us before placing your order. We can discuss pricing, timing, and design options for larger quantities.

Production & Making:

What does "made to order" mean?

Every item in the Immortal Iran range is pressed by hand after your order is placed — we don't hold pre-printed stock. This means every print is fresh, every transfer is applied with care, and nothing sits in a warehouse going stale.

It also means we need time. Allow 5–7 business days for your order to be produced before it is dispatched.

What if a product is out of stock?

Occasionally specific sizes or colours may be temporarily unavailable while we restock blanks. If this affects your order we will contact you within 24 hours to offer an alternative size, a substitute of equivalent quality, or a full refund. We never substitute a lower quality blank without asking first.

I need my order urgently. Can you rush it?

Message us on Instagram @immortaliran before placing your order and let us know your deadline. We will do our best to accommodate urgent requests. We cannot guarantee rush production on every order but we will always try.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does delivery take?

All items are made to order, so there are two parts to your total wait time:

Production: 5–7 business days after your order is placed.
Delivery (Australia): 3–7 business days after dispatch.
Total estimated time: 8–14 business days from order to arrival.

International delivery times vary by destination — typically 7–21 business days after dispatch.

How much does shipping cost?

Australia — Standard: $11.00 flat rate. Free on orders $100 and over.
Australia — Express: $15.00 (1–2 business days delivery after dispatch — note production time still applies).
International: Calculated at checkout based on destination.

Will I get a tracking number?

Yes. You'll receive an email with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched. Allow 24 hours for tracking to activate after you receive the notification.

Do you ship to Iran?

We do not currently ship to Iran. International mail to Iran is unreliable, and more importantly, receiving items carrying these symbols could put the recipient at risk inside the country. If you have a specific situation you want to discuss, contact us directly — we'll do our best to help.

Product & Printing:

What printing method do you use?

We use DTF (Direct to Film) heat transfer printing. Transfers are produced by a professional Australian DTF printer then applied by hand using a pneumatic heat press. DTF produces highly detailed, durable prints that bond directly into the fabric fibres and hold their detail wash after wash.

Designs with metallic gold use a true metallic ink — it catches light differently to standard ink and is part of what makes the imperial symbols look appropriate on a premium garment.

How do I care for my item to protect the print?

Do not tumble dry. This is the most important rule — heat from a dryer will degrade DTF prints over time.

Cold machine wash, inside out. Hang to dry. Do not iron directly on the print — if ironing is needed, place a cloth between the iron and the print and use low heat only. Followed correctly, the print will last the life of the garment.

What fabric are the tees made from?

Our tees are 185gsm 100% ring-spun combed cotton — a heavyweight, structured blank significantly thicker than standard promotional tees. Men's tees have a modern semi-fitted cut. Women's tees have shaped side seams for a feminine fit. Both are available in Black and White.

What about the jacket?

The zip jacket is Fruit of the Loom 62-230-0 — 280gsm, 80% cotton / 20% polyester Belcoro® yarn. Cadet collar, covered full-length zip, two front pockets. It carries two prints — a small imperial crest on the left chest and a full bold design across the back. Currently available in S and L. More sizes in the next run.

Sizing:

How do I find my size?

Every product page has a size chart with garment measurements in centimetres. These are measurements of the garment laid flat — not body measurements. Measure a well-fitting tee you already own across the chest (this is your half-chest measurement) and compare to the chart.

Men's tees run true to size. Women's tees are semi-fitted — size up if between sizes. The jacket runs slightly relaxed.

Can women wear the men's or unisex styles?

Yes. The men's tee and zip jacket work well as an oversized streetwear fit on women — size down one from your usual women's size for a relaxed fit, or two sizes for something more fitted. The unisex tank and crop top are already cut for a relaxed unisex silhouette.

The Cause:

Where does the money go?

Every sale covers the cost of the blank garment, DTF printing, packaging, and shipping. All surplus beyond those costs goes directly to funding the next production run and supporting Iranian diaspora activist causes in Australia. There are no investors and no profit being taken out. This is a cause operation, not a business.

Are you affiliated with any political party or organisation?

We are not affiliated with any political party. We are an independent diaspora operation that supports the broad movement for a free, democratic, secular Iran. We express support for Prince Reza Pahlavi's vision for a peaceful democratic transition, but we are not an official representative of any campaign or organisation.

I'm not Iranian. Can I still buy and wear this?

Yes. Anyone who supports the Iranian people's right to freedom is welcome here. The Lion and Sun belongs to Iran's history and civilisation — wearing it is an act of solidarity. We only ask that you understand what it means before you wear it. People will ask. That's the point.

Is it safe to wear these symbols in Australia?

In Australia, wearing the Lion and Sun is a fully protected act of expression. The Islamic Republic considers these symbols seditious — which is exactly why they matter. Use your own judgment about context. Wearing it in your daily life is one thing. Wearing it at a community event where regime supporters may be present is another. Know your environment.

Inside Iran, displaying these symbols carries serious legal risk. We do not ship to Iran for this reason.

Returns & Problems:

What is your returns policy?

Because every item is made to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind or sizing errors. Please check the size chart carefully before ordering — if you're unsure, message us before you buy and we'll help you pick the right size.

If your item arrives with a printing defect, is the wrong item, or is damaged in transit, contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo. We will reprint and reship at no cost to you.

Under Australian Consumer Law you have rights in relation to faulty goods — this policy does not affect those rights.

My order hasn't arrived. What do I do?

Check your tracking number first — allow the full estimated delivery window before contacting us. If tracking shows the parcel is lost or hasn't moved in more than 10 business days, contact us via Instagram @immortaliran and we will investigate and arrange a replacement if needed.

I have a question that isn't answered here.
